A car accident near Saranac Lake sent two teens to a local hospital over the weekend.
Tupper Lake-based state police say they responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Forest Home Road at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Troopers say 17-year-old Crystal Perryman of Gabriels was driving a 1995 Toyota sedan west when the vehicle exited the roadway, striking a tree.
Perryman was transported to the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, where she was treated and released. A passenger - 18-year-old Melinda Duprey of Saranac Lake - was also taken to AMC.
Troopers ticketed the driver for speeding and operating a motor vehicle with poor tire tread.
