CHARLOTTE -On May 31, at approximately 2:01, p.m., Vermont State Police troopers and DMV Enforcement officers responded to Route 7 in Charlotte at the intersection of Church Hill Road for a tractor-trailer accident.
A 2005 Mack truck and trailer, operated by Arthur Vezina, 53, of Shelburne, veered off the edge of the roadway northbound, striking a telephone pole before overturning on Route 7.
No other vehicles were involved. Route 7 was closed for approximately three hours while the truck was removed. Operator inattention is blamed for the crash.
