RUTLAND - On May 22, Vermont State Police troopers responded to a retail theft at the Hannaford Supermarket on Route 7 in Rutland. The suspect, Kristine Emrick, 28, of Rutland, fled the scene in an automobile. Emrick was observed leaving the store with approximately $81 in unpaid merchandise. The suspect vehicle was stopped in Rutland City and Emrick was cited for retail theft.
