PLATTSBURGH - Nova Bus Corporation has received an estimated $231.2 million contract.
The contract, awarded by the Metropolitan Transit Authority, will involve final assembly of more than 300 clean-diesel buses at the company's plant on Banker Road in the town of Plattsburgh.
The reported cost to assemble each bus is $703,874, slightly less than the initial estimated cost of $717,933.
The buses are expected to be delivered later this summer through April 2013.
