Diversity, job fair June 13 in Burlington

BURLINGTON-Where else can you listen to Jenni Johnson sing; view Irish, Scottish, and African dancers; and sample ethnic foods-all while learning about available jobs at one of the area's largest non-profit organizations?

The public is invited to celebrate our community's diversity at HowardCenter's combined Diversity Fair and Job Fair on Monday, June 13, 3-6 p.m., at the McClure Gymnasium, Baird School, at 1138 Pine St. in Burlington.

This free event will feature ethnic foods and international entertainment. Staff recruiters will be available to discuss full and part-time positions at HowardCenter. For individuals seeking jobs, applications can be completed at the gym.

Performances include: Jenni Johnson; Jeh Kulu; Burlington High School International Women; Irish dancer Lyra O'Donnabhair; Scottish Dancer Heather Morris; storyteller Peter Burns; Little Rwandan Dancers; and Jamono Africa Dance.
