According to New York State Police Troop K, Jubrey was involved in making illegal drugs out of a tent on the Austerliz campgrounds in Columbia County.
The tent was discovered after a trooper running a No Seat belt traffic stop and picked up a strong scent of chemicals. He then discovered chemicals and paraphernalia associated with making illegal drugs.
The investigation revealed Jubrey and another camper had been on the campgrounds since Monday, according to the release. The materials were disposed of after Jubrey was involved in the hit-and-run incident into dumpsters behind an apartment building in the Town of Ghent.
