Weld said local businesses are also supporting WinterFest. Lowe's has donated sleds, brooms, signage, ear muffs and gloves. The Ticonderoga Teachers Association, the Key Club and Jay's Sunoco have donated T-shirts. Treadway Outfitters and Community Bank have donated door prizes.
Getting in the WinterFest spirit, locals businesses will offer discounts that day. Adam's Rib, Sugar & Spice, Old Mill Cafe, Burleigh Luncheonette, Burgoyne Grill, Two Brothers Meat Market and the Wagon Wheel will offer 10 percent discounts. Roxie's and Rathbun Jewelers will offer 20 percent discounts.
"We started this a year ago and we want to see it grow bigger and better every year." Weld said. "We want to add activities and we want more people in the community to come out. We want it to be fun for everyone."
