LAKE GEORGE - Innovative, experimental video shorts by amateurs and artists alike will be celebrated as the Lake George Arts Project holds its second annual People's Pixel Project gala Saturday, Jan. 22.

Entries include videos captured on cell phones, digital cameras, and video equipment. Amateurs including teens and even young children were invited to enter.

This video festival, complete with Grammy-style awards, is set for the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls. The screenings of the top video art entered will likely feature dozens of video shorts, 3 to 5 minutes in length.

Purchase tickets, $10, by calling Lake George Arts Project at 668-2616, or Rock Hill Bake House at 615-0777.

Throughout February, entries will be on view at Aimee's Dinner Theater in Glens Falls, and during gallery hours at Lake George Arts Project.
