Girls varsity basketball 1-22-11

Katrina Garrand led the Cougars with 21 points, while Cari Dominic added 12 points, Rachelle Barcomb scored 11 points, Justine Rabideau scored eight points, while Paige Southwick and Chelsey Brooks scored six points apiece.

Jillian Scott scored eight points for the Bobcats, with heather Kingsolver scoring three points and the trio of Tylar Lafountain, Jesslin Golovach and Tiffany Provost each scored two points.

The Lady Cougars used an 18-4 third quarter to get out to a comfortable lead and stave off the Lady Hornets Jan. 13.

The Lady Chiefs used a 28-10 first half to cruise to victory against the Lady Eagles Jan. 13.

Stephanie Linder led the Chiefs with 16 points, while Megan Bowman added 14 points, kristen Keysor scored five points and morgan Maye scored four points.

Shannon Ryan scored 14 points for the Eagles, while Michelle Cressey scored four points and the duo of Nicole Shepler and Grace Kelly scored two points each.

Peru 82, Saranac Lake 21

The Lady Indians scored 20-plus points in the first three quarters in beating the Lady Red Storm Jan. 13.

Emily Decker recorded a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Stephanie Demaris and Dani Dayton scored 12 points each, Sam Martin and Mary Mazzella each scored nine points, with the duo of Kelly Kezar and Meg Barber each scoring seven points apiece.
