Beekmantown 2, NCCS 0

Austin Brandish scored a pair of goals exactly nine minutes apart in the second period, as the Eagles blanked the Cougars Jan. 12.

Brandish scored his first goal 42 second into the period on an assist from Cole Carter. Nine minutes later, Brandish lit the lamp again, this time on an assist from Jordan Barriere.

Kyle McCarthy recorded 20 saves in earning the shutout, while Cody Knass recorded 20 saves for the Cougars.

Beekmantown 3, NCS 2

Brett Carnright scored the go-ahead goal in the third period as the Eagles rallied to beat Niskayuna Jan. 14.

Carnright scored on assists from Frank Buska and Brenden Carnright. Buska scored the opening goal of the game for the Eagles on an assist from Carter Frechette, giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead that would turn into a 2-1 deficit.

Cole Carter scored the equalizer to start the third period on assists from Buska and Austin Bradish.

Kyle McCarthy turned away 14 shots to pick up the win in net.

PHS 5, Tupper Lake 0

PJ Worley scored a pair of goals in the first two periods to help lead the Hornets to a shut out win against the Lumberjacks Jan. 14.

Worley was assisted on the first goal by Joe Tolosky and one the second by Alex Maston.

Eric Bechard, John Anthony Fine-Lease and Brett Burdo also scored for the Hornets, while Maston added a second assist to the offensive effort, along with a helper from Brandon Mattot.

Robbie Knowles recorded the shutout in net for the Hornets.

St Lawrence 2. PHS 0

St. Lawrence scored a pair of goals in the second period and kept the Hornets out of the net in scoring the win Jan. 15.

Robbie Knowles made 24 saves in the net for the Hornets.

BHCS 2, Beekmantown 1

Frank Buska scored the lone goal of the game for the Eagles in the second period, but Burnt Hills scored the game-winner in the third period Jan. 15.

Buska was assisted by Cole Carter, while Kyle McCarthy made 15 saves for the Eagles.
