RUTLAND TOWN - On Jan. 11, at approximately 7:32 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to the intersection of Business Route 4 and West Proctor Road in Rutland Town for a two vehicle motor vehicle crash.
Vehicle 1 was on West Proctor Road at the stop sign. Vehicle 1's operator - Cecelia Capen, 88, of Proctor - pulled out onto Business Route 4 to head towards Rutland City. Capen did not see vehicle 2-operated by Margaret Blanchard, 44, of Pittsford - traveling on Business Route 4 heading west in the left lane heading towards West Rutland. Vehicle 1's front end collided with vehicle 2's passenger's side. No one was injured.
