Our Town Theatre Group to host Arsenic and Old Lace auditions

NORTH CREEK - The Our Town Theatre Group proudly announces auditions for its Spring Main Stage production of Joseph Kesselring's famous comedy Arsenic and Old Lace. Auditions will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1, 6:30-9 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 2, 6:30-9 p.m. at Tannery Pond Community Center.

Parts available are for 14 actors aged mid 30 to 70. All materials will be provided and no preparation is necessary. Actors will read selected scenes and only need to attend one of the two nights. It is not necessary to stay the entire time but could be helpful. Perusal scripts are available at the North Creek, Chestertown, and Indian Lake libraries. Performances will be March 18, 19 and 20 at Tannery Pond Community Center. Perusal scripts are available at the North Creek, Indian Lake and Chester libraries.

Arsenic and Old Lace is a comedy of charming and innocent ladies who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously "acceptable" roomers; the antics of their brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt; and the activities of the other brother.
