Potluck dinner will kick off 250th birthday celebration in Poultney on Sunday, Jan. 23

POULTNEY - The host organizers for Poultney's 250th Birthday celebration Community Pot Luck Dinner remind everyone to save the date of Sunday, Jan. 23 and join them at 4 p.m. at St. Raphael's Parish Hall in Poultney.

People should bring a potluck dish to share and join in the celebration to help the community celebrate its 250th birthday. The birthday cake will be provided by the Poultney Rotary Club, and special dinnertime background bluegrass music will be played by Spruce Knob Uprising.

Many have already registered to attend, but there is still room for more. Sign up sheets are available at many local area businesses and community sites including: Poultney Town Offices, Public Library and Young At Heart Senior Center, the churches, Williams Hardware and Tot's Diner.
