TACC hosts Five Hundred Dollar Fridays

TICONDEROGA - The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce recently held their first Five Hundred Dollar Fridays fundraiser. Every Friday in December TACC gave away $500. Tickets were available for a $20 donation.

"We are pleased to announce the winners of the December 2010 Five Hundred Dollar Fridays. We are also thrilled to be able to donate $500 to be distributed among local food pantries.

"Look for another Five Hundred Dollar Friday's giveaway this spring. I would like to extend a thank you to all those who made a donation for a chance to win and all those who assisted in pulling the winning tickets each week," stated TACC Executive Director Matthew Courtright.

December 2010 winners:

•12/3/10: Sue Fuller of Ticonderoga. Chief Mark Johns of the Ticonderoga Police Department pulled the winning ticket.

•12/10/10: Joe Orta of Ticonderoga. Office Quesnel of the Ticonderoga Police Department pulled the winning ticket.

•12/17/10: Scott Hearburg of Ticonderoga. Officer Mascarenas of the Ticonderoga Police Department pulled the winning ticket.

•12/24/10: Jessica Borho of Ticonderoga. Tom McGrath from Sugar & Spice Country Shoppe pulled the winning ticket.

•12/31/10: Kellie St. Andrews of Putnam Station. Scarlette Merfeld from Denton Publications pulled the winning ticket.

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce serves, markets, and promotes more than 160 members and 500 businesses, as well as the area, in Ticonderoga, Crown Point, Hague, Moriah, Putnam, and surrounding areas.
