The one thing Cross said he'd like to see change in the local music scene is the stigma that people are mainly interested in listening to covers versus original music. Many times, said Cross, he's been told playing covers is the way to get people to listen to their band.
"I feel like this is the overwhelming consensus amongst the general Plattsburgh population, and frankly, it's dead wrong," he said. "We'd like to work to change that and give a voice to artists that play original music that may not fit the mold and who are more than just background music for people to get inebriated to."
