PLATTSBURGH - A female student from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh recently reported she was sexually assaulted Feb. 2 by a man she didn't know.
She reported to University Police she was assaulted while walking between Algonquin and Champlain Valley halls around 11 p.m. According to the student, the man grabbed her by the arm and touched her breast, buttocks and pubic region through her clothings, before she was able to fight him off.
The attacker is described to be tall, white male, slight facial hair, wearing a black coat, dark-colored winter hat, jeans and work boots.
