A local man appeared before a judge this week and pleaded guilty to a burglary charge.
24-year-old Kyle G. Hanna of Tupper Lake was taken into custody last spring and charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
At the time of his arrest, police said Hanna broke into a residence on Wawbeek Avenue in the village of Tupper Lake and stole a safe containing cash, jewelry and personal items.
Hanna appeared in Franklin County Court earlier this week before acting Judge Penelope Clute, where he pleaded guilty to the sole count of third-degree burglary.
Judge Clute set sentencing for March 30.
