Two people were injured following a snowmobile accident that occurred in Clinton County over the weekend.

According to reports, two snowmobiles collided on a trail known as Rutland Way in the town of Clinton at about 10:50 a.m. Saturday.

Plattsburgh-based state police say 34-year-old Michelle L. Wells of Champlain and 40-year-old Stephen J. Harris were traveling west on separate snowmobiles when the accident occurred.

Wells reportedly stopped her sled and Harris - who was following behind - hit Wells' sled.
