On Jan. 24, troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Danby Hill Road in Danby. Investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Susan Rockwell was traveling eastbound on Danby Hill Road in Danby. As her vehicle continued to travel eastbound, approximately 1 mile east of Colvin Hill Road, the operator lost control of the vehicle on the snow covered roadway. Rockwell's vehicle traveled into the eastbound shoulder and off the roadway. She crashed into a snow bank and a tree where it came to an uncontrolled rest.
