Ticonderoga sweeps
Ticonderoga downed Plattsburgh in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling action Dec. 21.
The Sentinels won the girls match, 4-0.
Jordan McKee rolled a 233 game and 553 series to pace Ti. Megan Schryer added a 218 game and 506 set for the Sentinels.
Ticonderoga won the boys match, 9-1.
Cole Frasier topped the Sentinels with a 521 series. Konner Bruce had a 516 and Joe Johns a 506. James Gijanto recorded a 198 game for the Sentinels.
Girls basketball
Moriah 32, Saranac Lake 22
Moriah led start to finish as it beat Saranac Lake, 32-22, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball play Dec. 21.
Hayley Waldron had 12 points and seven rebounds to key the Viking attack.
Lauren Pelkey and Santana Martinez each added eight points for the winners. Jasmine Callis had four steals and three assists.
Beekmantown 60, Ticonderoga 35
Ticonderoga fell to Beekmantown, 60-32, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball play Dec. 21.
The Eagles raced to an 18-4 lead and coasted to the win. Shannon Ryan scored 25 points for Beekmantown.
McKenna Kelly paced the Sentinels with 10 points.
