Marissa Titus led Crown Point past Wells, 43-30, in Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball play Dec. 19.
Titus scored 16 points, hauled down 22 rebounds, had five blocks and a steal for the Panthers.
Amanda Wolf also had a double-double for the winners, scoring 10 points and snaring 11 boards.
Leading by a point, Crown Point closed the first half with a 10-3 run to take control of the contest.
Westport 45, Schroon Lake 24
Westport led all the way as it defeated Schroon Lake, 45-24, in Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball play Dec. 19.
Willa McKinley scored 15 points and Allison Sherman 12 for the undefeated Eagles.
Lindsay Reynolds led Schroon Lake with 11 points. Gabe Harvey added six points for the ‘Cats.
Bowling
Moriah defeated
Moriah lost to Peru in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling action Dec. 19.
Peru won the boys match, 10-0.
Dillon Adkins paced the Vikings with a 162 game and 436 triple.
Moriah fell in the girls match, 4-0.
Sam Wright had a 147 game and 355 series to pace the Vikings.
