Ticonderoga Ticonderoga High School musicians delivered their annual holiday gift to the community Dec. 14, performing their winter concert for a capacity audience.
More than 100 students took part in the show, which featured the band, Sentinel Big Band, Trebled Voices girls choir, Night Shadows boys choir and chorus.
The band performance was highlighted by a tap dance by Lillith Ida as Nelson Shapiro directed “The Saints Hallelujah.”
The Sentinel Big Band featured solos by Dale Quesnel, Skyler Gilbert, Anthony Dushane, Anthony Costello, Mark Donohue, Christopher Burns and Stephen Bartlett. The group was also directed by Shapiro.
Alyssa Rodriguez, Kaitlin Diskin and Sara Plude had solos for the Trebled Voices, which was directed by student Ashley Costello.
The Night Shadows performance was highlighted by a presentation of “Silence of Night,” an original piece written by Shapiro. It also featured Stephen Bartlett, Marcus Moser, Jordan Woods and Karney Manning during “White Winter Hymnal.”
The school chorus, accompanied by Jolene Harrigan and directed by Shapiro, concluded the program.
