continued — The cost of moving into the building and much of the renovation work performed inside was kept to a minimum through the use of labor of village employees, said Bennett.
“I can’t say enough about the village crew,” he said. “We went into this blind, not understanding what it would really take to make this happen and the amount of work they’ve put in has been amazing.”
Bennett estimates the move to the new village office building will be complete within the next few months, though noted the village’s core services are already up and running at the new location.
“We’re excited about it. It’s just going to be a matter of finding things,” said Village Clerk Donna Clark, laughing.
The office building is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and may be reached by calling 492-7000
