Domestic assault in Pittsford Aug. 3

— On Aug. 3, at approximately 5:32 p.m., Edward Kimball, 32, reported a family fight that occurred at his residence at 3714 U.S. Route 7, in Pittsford.

Kimball stated he got into a verbal argument with Mieshau Phillips, 31, which eventually escalated.

During the altercation, Phillips threw a large rock at Kimball's vehicle, hitting the rear fender. Kimball, in retaliation, threw a plastic mustard bottle, causing it to explode and cover Phillips.

The verbal argument continued upstairs into their apartment where it was reported that Phillips threatened Kimball with a 10 inch serrated kitchen knife, telling him to sleep “with one eye open.” Phillips denied threatening Kimball and stated she held the knife for her protection as she was afraid of Kimball.

Phillips was lodged at Marble Valley Correctional Facility for using a deadly weapon and threatening to use that deadly weapon on a family member.
