Ann Dotoli

Ann Dotoli comes from a horse background. Her parents, Fran and Joe, owned and operated Young Entry Stable in Massachusetts from 1970 - 1993 and operated a riding camp for girls in Vermont from 1968-1979. Ann earned many championships and prestigious ribbons throughout her junior career in various divisions from the ponies, junior hunters, junior jumpers and equitation. She placed third in the 1991 ASPCA Maclay Finals, placed second in the 1992 NEHC Medal Finals and won the Sportsmanship Award that same year. After graduating from Boston College in 1996, Ann went to work for her parents at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club in Darien, Connecticut. While at Ox Ridge, Ann trained students to numerous wins in the hunter, equitation, jumper and pony rings including the Connecticut Medal winner in 1998, the New England Equitation Adult winner in 2001, as well as numerous championships at shows on the East Coast. In 2003, Ann moved to Belgium to work for a large sales stable. After 2 1/2 years, she went into business for herself. When Aster joined the team, they were able to have more direct contact with the breeders in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Ann & Aster bring a unique "horse-trainers and breeders" perspective to their training program. Ann & Aster were married in August 2007, welcomed a baby girl in September 2008 and moved to the United States in February 2010. Their business is based in Ocala, FL during the winter months and Charlotte, VT during the summer.
