TICONDEROGA - Town police seized $7,500 of heroin at a traffic stop on April 20. The driver of the car, Zack A. Muroff, 25, of Ticonderoga, and the passenger of the car, Joshua M. Jaenisch, 30, of Crown Point, were arrested for felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Neither Muroff or Jaenisch could post their bails of $25,000 and $20,000, so both were brought to Essex County Jail. Police say they believe the heroin was intended to be distributed in the area.
