•Don't forget the benefit dinner for local resident James Palazzo, a cancer patient. The event is to be held Saturday April 30 to raise money to pay for his spiraling medical costs. The benefit will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lakeside Lodge and Grille on Main St. in Bolton Landing. Adults will be charged $15 and children are free. •The reservation deadline of May 3 is approaching for the annual regional Senior of the Year luncheon. The event honors seniors from Warren and Hamilton counties who have dedicated many hours of service to their communities. The luncheon is to be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday May 19 at Fort William Henry Hotel in Lake George Village. a.m.

To be awarded Outstanding Contributing Senior locally is Maureen Mihalics of Diamond Point, who was nominated by three senior groups in the area.

Entree choice for the $16.95 meal is Canadian salmon, chicken breast or top sirloin. For details or to make reservations, contact Pat Pratt at 644-9459.

Bolton Seniors

•Wednesday, May 4 - Business meeting of Seniors club, 10:30 a.m. at Senior Center. Lunch to follow, noon at Bolton Mealsite. To reserve, call 644-2368 24 hours in advance. Sign-ups held for May and June off-site activities - bring your checkbook.

•Tuesday, May 10 - Trip to the Saratoga Racino. To participate, call Pat Merchant at 644-9359.

•Wednesday, May 11 - Trip to Albany for a historic tour and a viewing of the city's decorative plantings for their annual Tulip Festival. Lunch at Lombardo's Restaurant. Meet at the Bolton Senior Center at 8:45 a.m. Carpool leaves Bolton at 9 a.m. For more details, call Lorraine at 644-9247.

•Wednesday, May 18 - Bowling at Sparetime Lanes in Lake George, 10 a.m. Lunch follows at Chinatown Restaurant.

•Wednesday, May 25 - Bingo, 10:30 a.m. at Bolton Senior Center. Participants share the cost of submarine sandwiches for lunch, plus bring a dessert and chips.
