The town of Bolton will be flushing hydrants from May 2 through May 6, during the hours of 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Some discoloration of water is likely to occur during this period, town officials said this week. Consumers are advised to check water conditions before doing laundry to avoid stains. It is recommended that residents flush their water heaters to prevent future problems.
