Many in the area enjoyed going to Tannery Pond Community Center on Saturday night to hear the findings of Noah John Rondeau. David Greene broke the secret code of this Adirondack hermit. You can see the hermit's cabin at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake.

The Easter sunrise service usually held on the top of Gore Mountain was held near the base this year. The ski season was over but the service went on. The weather was much better than the day before. Easter had a great sunrise. There were other sunrise services in the area.

Good Friday service held at the Sodom Community was well attended and the pastor from the North Creek Baptist brought the message.

Sorry to hear about the closing of the Johnsburg Public Market. It served for so many years.

Jean, Mary and Debby Russell enjoyed going to Pizza Hut on Friday to celebrate Debby's 33rd birthday.

Joe and Amanda Hitchcock Rausch and baby from South Carolina were happy to have Lew, Debby and Megan visit them during school break.

Gary and Sherry Wolfe are home from a vacation trip to the Carolina's.

Ryan and Keisha Sprague, Dezore, Khaleah and Yanden Cleveland enjoyed the weekend in Bolivar visiting Ron and Brandy Millington and daughter. On their way home they stopped at a rest area and were surprised to see Melvin and Sue Allen and grandchildren. They had been to Niagara Falls.

Retraction from last week: it was Shane and Rebecca that were married, not Jamie and Rebecca. Sorry for my mistake.


Many will be watching the Royal Wedding on Friday.
