Students head to eco summit

RUTLAND- The following local students are among only 250 chosen as national youth delegates to the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment at George Mason University.

Emma Page, of Brandon, a senior at Otter Valley Union High School, has been selected to represent Vermont.

Devon Artis-White, of Salisbury, a senior at Middlebury Union High School has been selected to represent Vermont.

They were chosen based on academic accomplishments and a demonstrated interest and excellence in leadership in the sciences and conservation studies.
