Poetry trio to perform

SARANAC LAKE - North Country Community College and the Adirondack Center for Writing are bringing the best performance poets of Brooklyn to your doorstep.

On Tuesday, April 26, at 7 p.m., the following poets will give a presentation: Adam Falkner, Carlos Andres Gomez, and Angel Nafis. The event is free and open to the public.

"Audiences can't get enough of these incredible poets we keep bringing up," Adirondack Center for Writing Executive Director, Nathalie Thill, said. "It is thrilling to hear poetry by such young and up-and-coming writers, poets who deal with topics such as racism and social identity, music, and family and love."

The trio will take the stage at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26 at the David W. Petty Lecture Hall on the North Country Community College Campus in Saranac Lake. The event is free and open to the public.
