Merina Johnson of Ticonderoga, Ashley Peters of Crown Point and Hayley Best, Ticonderoga have been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Dean's list status is awarded to students who have successfully completed their course work with a semester grade point averageof 3.2 or higher out of a possible 4.0 score.

Rachel Woods, daughter of Bob and Melanie Woods of Moriah, at student at State University of New York at Postdam, has been selected for membership in the Zeta Alpha Rho Chapter of Kappa Pi International Honorary Art Honor Society. Membership is based on excellent academic record, both in art courses and overall.

Dana Aurilio of Moriah Center has been named to the dean's list at Paul Smith's College for the fall 2010 semester.

Aurilio, who is majoring in fisheries and wildlife sciences, is enrolled in the college's School of Forestry and Natural Resources and earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction.

Kathryn Major, a soprano from Ticonderoga, will performed in "An Evening of Russian Songs and Arias," a Baldwin-Wallace College faculty and student collaboration featuring JR Fralick, tenor, Max Nolin, tenor, Alec Donaldson, baritone, and Christine Fuoco, piano, recently in the Berea United Methodist Church, Berea, Ohio.

Major is a junior at B-W, majoring in music, and is daughter of Jim and Marianne Major.
