BRIDPORT-At a recent Masonic awards dinner for Morning Sun Lodge #5 of Bridport, 50-year service awards were presented to Edwin A. Rice, of Port Henry, N.Y., (absent due to illness) and Richard J. Phillips of Bridport.
Phillips and James A. Walker of Bridport were each presented with a Masonic armed service pin for in country service in Vietnam. A scholarship award was presented to Corey Rundell.
The presenters were the Grand Master of Vermont F. & A.M. M.W. Thomas Johnston IV and the R.W. District Deputy Grand Master, Russell W. Buck of Morning Sun Lodge 5 of Bridport.
Worthy Grand Associate Matron Patti Rousseau and Worthy Grand Associate Patron Richard Backus presented a talk on Eastern Star.
