QUEENSBURY - How to conduct genealogy research on the Internet is the focus of a program offered Monday, April 25, at the Queensbury High School at 409 Aviation Road.
The instructional program, titled "Finding Your Family Online," will be conducted in room 252, the school's computer lab. The session is sponsored by Warren County Historical Society and the North Eastern New York Genealogy Society.
The program introduces participants - to free online sites that assist people in locating their family history. Hands-on computer use will part of this program, conducted by Scott Langworthy. Those attending are urged to bring a notebook to write down the advice, and arrive early, due to limited seating. The genealogical society will conduct its annual elections following the presentation.
