Chamber Day' to be observed April 28

TICONDEROGA-The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce will host "Chamber Day" Thursday, April 28.

Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce staff, Ambassador Club Members, board members and other volunteers will be hand delivering the 2011 membership plaques to TACC members within the area.

"The first annual TACC Chamber Day is also an opportunity for the TACC to greet and talk with members as well as thank them for their continued support and dedication to the chamber and the community," stated Matthew J. Courtright, TACC executive director.

That evening the chamber will hold its April "After Business Mixer" at Sugar & Spice Country Shoppe 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sponsors providing door prizes will be Achieve Fitness, Century 21 Adirondacks and Frenchman's Restaurant.

Sugar & Spice Country Shoppe is located at 98 Montcalm Street in downtown Ticonderoga. Although an RSVP is not required, it is appreciated and can be made by calling the TACC at 585-6619, via e-mail at chamberinfo@ticonderogany.com or visit the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce facebook page.

"Sugar & Spice Country Shoppe is a perfect location for the April ABM and to kick off spring," Courtright said. "Please join us for a night of networking. Be sure to bring business cards for the door prizes and to give out throughout the evening. Networking is a key component of Chamber membership and marketing your business. I invite everyone to take advantage of this and all networking opportunities."

TACC's "After Business Mixers" provide a networking forum for area business people in addition to showcasing the site of the host as well as promoting the door prize sponsors. All area business people, chamber members and their employees are invited to attend.
