Did you send in a name and notes of your memories to the Thurman Town Historian as we mentioned several weeks ago? The historian is seeking accounts from Thurmanites about women that have made a big difference in residents' lives as well as those around her. Those responding can go back a generation or more to recount the impact of a person. Our editor can think of a couple already - Edith Bills or Jean Reynolds, to name just two. Jot down some memories and send them off to the historian, who will undoubtedly be thankful for your help in this project.
