A 24-year-old Tupper Lake man was sentenced to probation last week for a 2010 burglary.
Appearing in Franklin County Court before Judge Penelope Clute, Kyle G. Hanna was sentenced to five years probation following a February conviction on charges of third-degree burglary.
Hanna was taken into custody last spring after breaking into a residence on Wawbeek Avenue in the village of Tupper Lake. Prosecutors say he stole a safe containing cash, jewelry, and personal items - he was originally charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
In addition to probation, Hanna will also pay restitution to the tune of about $1,000.
