GREENWICH - Devon Wheat, 18, of Greenwhich, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, after an investigation by Cambridge-Greenwich Police produced a stolen credit card.
Wheat is accused of trying to use a credit card that had been stolen from the purse of a patron at the Greenwich Free Library March 23, according to police.
Surveillance cameras at a Cumberland Farms and Trustco Bank revealed Wheat trying to use the card.
Wheat was arraigned in Greenwich Village Court and was sent to Washington County Jail for lack of bail.
