WILLISTON-The top 4 individual winners from the Vermont State MATHCOUNTS Competition held at Vermont Technical College on Saturday, March 26 will travel to compete in the 2011 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition in Washington, D.C. May 5-8.
The Vermont team will compete for the national title against other talented middle school mathematicians representing the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and schools from the Department of Defense and State Department.
John Radimer from Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School will travel as the coach for the Vermont team. The first alternate for Vermont's MC team is Delan Chen. The winners from the Vermont State MATHCOUNTS competition are:
