MIDDLEBURY- On May 3, the Foundation for Alcoholism Research, Inc. will hold its third annual lunch and card party fundraising event at the Swift House Inn.
Last year, Dan and Michele Brown, owners of the Swift House Inn, hosted the event prepared by the inn's new chef Robert Fenn. This year, the dining room will be filled with nine tables for any card game, and the library will hold three tables of duplicate bridge. Card players from Middlebury, East Middlebury, Bristol, Leicester, New Haven, Panton, Salisbury, Shelburne, and Burlington will convene.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Reservations are required; call 802-758-2243 or e-mail info@alcoholismresearch.org. The cost of $30 per person includes lunch, beverage, dessert, and snack.
