MIDDLEBURY-On Saturday, March 26, 4-H members from around Vermont visited Bourdeau and Bushey feed company on Seymour Street and the FCI feed mill on Exchange Street.
Following the morning visit at the feed facilities, 4-H members travelled to the Weybridge Elementary School for the state 4-H Sheep Quiz Bowl contest.
Vermont 4-H Clubs are positive environments where youth belong to a group, elect officers, plan and attend meetings, conduct community service, participate in competitions or other events and make friends. Typically the club picks a project, with a learn-by-doing approach, that serves as a vehicle for learning both subject matter skills and life skills.
