Moriah toppled archrival Ticonderoga, 14-0, in a Northern Football Conference defensive struggle Sept. 24.
The Vikings held Ti to 92 yards in total offense, only twice allowing the Sentinels into Moriah territory, and recovered three Ti fumbles.
Moriah got the board in the second period on a 41-yard touchdown run by Tom Ida. Ryan Mascarenas kicked the extra point.
It stayed that way until Moriah recovered a Ti fumble in the final quarter to set up the clinching TD. Mike Speshock ran in from 4 yards out and Mascarenas again added the PAT.
Tom Edward led the balanced Moriah offense, running for 80 yards. Ida added 78 yards and Nick Gilbo rambled for 53.
As usual, Moriah relied on a dominating ground game. It picked up 224 yards rushing and did not complete a pass.
Ryan Borho and Dan Morrison each gained 31 yards rushing to pace Ti.
The victory secures home field advantage for Moriah in the upcoming Section VII-X Class D tournament.
