Computer course for middle schoolers

An introductory computer programming course for middle school students will be offered this fall. The course, "Alice Programming", begins Sept. 30 and will run for six weeks through Nov. 4 on Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m.

Schools that are interested should respond by e-mail to rafieymehr@champlain.edu no later than Sept. 24. A place will be held for each school as soon as a commitment via e-mail arrives. The class is limited to 20 students, however, if needed, a waiting list will be created to help accommodate more schools.

Champlain's Division of ITS offers a wide range of areas of study and majors including, computer and digital forensics, computer information technology, computer networking and information security, computer science and innovation, game programming, radiography and web development and design.

For more information about the program, contact Dr. Ali Rafieymehr, 802-860-2751 or e-mail rafieymehr@champlain.edu.
