BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE - More than 60 talented rustic artisans from across the United States gathered at the Adirondack Museum for the 23rd annual Rustic Furniture Fair, Sept. 10-12. Artisans were honored by the museum for their work and their popularity at the fair.
This year, the Rustic Furniture Fair honors were the Maker's and People's Choice awards. Each award was determined by ballots given to each rustic artisans, or "maker" in order to select outstanding work by their peers. Rustic Furniture Fair visitors chose the winner of the People's Choice certificate.
Jonathan Swartwout, of Fisher of the Berry in Johnstown received the Maker's Choice award.

John Gallis of Norseman Designs West in Cody Wyoming, received the People's Choice award.
