Ti cartoonist's work on exhibit in gallery

TICONDEROGA - A collection of 40 editorial cartoons drawn by Stan Burdick of Ticonderoga that have appeared in four regional newspapers during 2009 and 2010 are now hanging in an area gallery.

These original cartoons spoofing headline events and political figures are currently being shown at the Chestertown Public Library in the Chester Municipal Center Building on Route 9 in Chestertown.

Burdick is the former owner of the Ticonderoga Cartoon Museum, now relocated to Pittsburgh. He is a cartoonist of note, free-lancing for several journals and periodicals, including the Times of Ti.
