Fun 'Bubbles Up' at babies and toddlers' playgroup

It is said that "childhood is a journey, not a race," and this is the experience available for families three times each month at The Baby's Place Play Group. It's a time for little ones to explore, be messy and stretch their learning before heading to the larger world of school. Moms, dads, grandparents and other caregivers are always encouraged to share the journey with their youngsters.

Babies and young children through 3 years of age accompanied by an adult caregiver are invited to come play on the first, second and third Tuesday of each month, from 10 to 11:30 AM during the school year. (Because of safety concerns the group does not meet when the Johnsburg School is closed or delayed.)

The group, sponsored by The Baby's Place, a program of North Country Ministry, meets at the Outreach Center on Rte 28, between Wevertown and North Creek. Moms, dads and other caregivers enjoy playing with their children and also enjoy the supportive companionship of other adults. The warm, friendly volunteer leaders have many years of experience in the human services and early childhood fields. There is no cost and all families with children under 4 years old are welcome to attend. For more information, or if transportation is needed, please call Theresa or Jill at 251 - 4460.
