Bakers Mills News 9-4-10

The weather was absolutely beautiful for the Allen's Engine Show. There were many campers and a lot of engines and activities.

The Son Harvest VBS at the Sodom Community Church was enjoyed by a lot of children. All 16 little ones memorized a verse each night.

The Fogarty and Mearns families enjoyed their vacation at their Bakers Mills homes.

Agnes Straight was delighted to have out of town guests spend time with her recently.

Ryan and Keisha Sprague; Dezorea, Lhaleah, Yanden, and Megan Bacon; Alonzo Conlon and sons, Aaron and Ian, enjoyed an overnight stay at the lean-to's. It was fun but very cold.

Kjerstia Schilinski is doing well. Thanks for all the prayers.

Khaleah Cleveland spent one night with Malory Pierson and one night with Megan Bacon. She went to the Washington County Fair with Megan, Debby Bacon and Louie Hitchcock.

Fabiann Conlon and son, Dauphin; Amber Dasaro and sons, Kurt and Nate Fuller; and Corky and Penny Goodspeed enjoyed a day at the Washington County Fair. Many others in the area also attended the Fair.

Nikki Conlon and sons, Aaron and Ian, and Rick and Georgia Kenyon enjoyed a Florida vacation recently.

Rev. Oliver and Ginny Dalaba from Michigan and Florida are visiting family and friends in the area. Oliver preached at the Sodom Community Church on Sunday.

Earl Allen, Dezore Cleveland and Kjerstia Schilinski enjoyed a picnic in Lake Pleasant on Sunday at a huge ranch. It is owned be the Weslyan Church in the area. A great feast and friendly people made a great day.


Jay Witham has been in concert in the area. He was at the Methodist Church in North River, The Baptist Church in Thurman, the Washington County Fair and Faith Baptist Church in Warrensburg. He will be in concert at the Sodom Community Church Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
