Police report

Investigation revealed that Demgard provided a false name to the Vermont State Police after a "road rage" type motor vehicle crash in Rutland Town. During this incident, Demgard was driving with a suspended license. During this incident Demgard crashed into a pickup truck after a traffic dispute with another motorist near the Diamond Run Mall.

Demgard was stopped for a traffic violation in Chittenden. During this traffic stop Demgard again provided a false name to the Vermont State Police. During this incident, Demgard was again driving with a suspended license. Further investigation revealed that Demgard was in possession of several stolen cellular telephones and electronics taken from vehicle break-ins in the Rutland area.

Demgard was placed at the Marble Valley Correctional Center on three counts of False Information to Law Enforcement; two counts of driving with a Criminally Suspended License, and one count of Possession of Stolen Property

Teen arrested for crack

On Aug. 23, Vermont Southern Drug Task Force officiers arrested Kelsey Bauer, 19, of Rutland for the offenses of trafficking heroin and sale/delivery of crack cocaine. This is an extension of the "Mitch" Matthew Richardson investigation.

In that case, Bauer delivered 200 bags of heroin and approximately one ounce of crack cocaine. She is also being charged with possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute. Through the investigation into Bauer's activities, and involvement with the group, it was discovered that Bauer had 340 narcotic pills (Endocet).

The pills were seized and will be turned over to the Vermont Forensic Laboratory as evidence. An estimated value on the seized drugs would be $6,000 for the heroin, $1,400 for the Crack and $4,420 for the pills. Bauer was lodged at Marble Valley prison for a lack of bail.
