Tpr. Campbell investigated a burglary at a property, Vermont Route 17, Addison. A portable table saw was stolen from the site.
Tpr. Dempsey responded to a two vehicle fatal accident, U.S. Route 7, Ferrisburgh. Operator 1 died from her injuries, and operator 2 was hospitalized for injuries.
Tpr. Szarejko was called to two vandalism complaints, Smead Road, Salisbury. Two mailboxes had been damaged.
Tpr. Campbell responded to a reported traffic hazard, U.S. Route 7, New Haven. No hazard was found on arrival.
Oct. 5
Sgt. Hodsden was called to a residential burglary, Vermont Route 17, Addison. Firearms, ammunition, and other hunting and fishing equipment were stolen.
Tpr. Dempsey investigated the theft of a mountain bike, Belden Falls Road, New Haven.
Tpr. Busier responded to a theft complaint, Monkton Road, Bristol. A yellow and black tamper was stolen from a job site.
Oct. 6
Tpr. Hanley cited Aaron Myers, 28, of Hinesburg into Court for Driving Under the Influence, Pearson Road, New Haven.
Tpr. Dempsey was called to a bad check complaint, Kampersville, Lake Dunmore Road, Salisbury.
Tpr. Dempsey investigated a bad check complaint, Shoreham Depot Road, Shoreham.
Sgt. Hogan responded to the report of a missing person, Horton Road, Orwell.
Oct. 7
Tpr. Busier was called to a traffic complaint, North Main Street, Whiting. A farm wagon with an attached tank rolled into the road and blocked the northbound lane.
Tpr. Dempsey responded to a welfare check, Vermont Route 22A, Shoreham.
Tpr. Szarejko investigated the theft of a canoe and a kayak from a camp, Sleepy Hollow Lane, Ferrisburgh.
Tpr. Dempsey responded to a theft from the Sugar House Motel, U.S. Route 7, New Haven. Two blankets had been stolen by a guest. The blankets were returned to the motel.
Tpr. Busier was called to a theft complaint, Forge Hill Lane, Lincoln. Unknown subjects removed a landowner's No Trespassing signs from a property.
