Stone Bridge & Caves has been a well-known tourist destination for decades, Thomas noted. Owned and operated for more than 200 years by the Beckler family, recent additions to the park include adventure tours, gemstone mining, Frisbee golf, and a Dino-Dig attraction and wall climbing. In addition, picnic areas can accommodate groups of all sizes. Among the latest enhancements to the park are miles of groomed snowshoe trails, which makes Stone Bridge & Caves a year-round attraction.
"Greg Beckler and his family members are always coming up with fresh ideas," Thomas said.
A weekend of free admission for area residents during a spring weekend each year encourages residents of Warren, Hamilton and Essex counties to enjoy a day exploring and learning about the geology and history of the park, Thomas added.
